Simply stated, we are dedicated to low impact, sustainable and site specific farming practices. All of our fruit is estate grown, so our vineyards are tended by the same highly trained, experienced professionals throughout the year and over many years. We substitute costly, intensive canopy management for more traditional spray regimens. Regular vineyard hand work includes suckering, tucking, shoot thinning, leafing/lateral removal and green thinning.

All sites are given the same high level of care, but each sub-block is individually farmed. We use drip irrigation and modern technology (pressure bombs, evapo-transpiration calculations, weather stations) to schedule watering needs. While some sites are dry farmed when appropriate, on average our vines receive 30 gallons of water per season. We hand harvest our fruit into half-ton bins. In all that we do, we respect our land as its stewards, committed to the notion that one day our children will farm it.
