As a young man, while visiting the Cluny Museum in Paris, Robert admired a tapestry with inspirational winemaking scenes detailing the seasons in a vineyard and harvest. Years later, Robert chose a portion of the tapestry, which reminded him of his own love for winemaking, to be the focal point for the Robert Stemmler brand.

Today the tapestry is synonymous with Robert Stemmler wines and signifies his life–long commitment and passion for winemaking. The tapestry, called “Le Vendange”, still hangs in the Cluny Museum in Paris and enjoys the admiration of art and wine lovers alike.
